Illustrated by Marcus Stone And was the first serialized Dickens novel to use woodcuts instead of steel plates for illustrations.In Four Books, 2 Volumes. No jacket (does not appear to have been issued for this edition.) Binding is loose at front board, through page 27 which is detached and has become torn along the edges as if out of the book for a period of time. Spine has small spots where cloth has worn away.
