Newspaper slight crack in the hinges of both volumes, rubbing of the corners exposing cardboard through the leather, and a scratch mark of some sort on the front panel of the 2nd volume. That's the bad news. Internally, incredibly clean, there is no foxing, there is no offset tanning. The illustrations are clean, and have not faded.
