Illustrator: Various. 200 g; 64 pages, with six plates and seven text figures. There is a ghost of a watermark measuring less than half an inch in diameter on the centre of the rear panel, and traces of foxing to the middle of the front paste down. . The author, who three years later was the chief inspector of the very department for whom he wrote is best known for his role as a founder of Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ).
