Good. Edwards, Beeson, et al. Archive of postcards and letters. Forty items, mostly postcards, dated 1895 to 1950s, sent to and from families in Glenola — an unincorporated area in Randolph County, North Carolina (currently in the High Point postal area). This area is rich in Quaker history; a couple of the writers use “thy” language and one card is addressed to Westtown, Penn., which has a Quaker school. Items in Good condition with edges worn (envelopes torn open) and some foxing. Letters and cards comprise family and work news (farming, mechanic, and hospital jobs), post-school (young adult) gossip (1942), birthday and holiday greetings, and travel.
