A near-fine copy by Hal Borland of TWELVE MOONS OF THE YEAR in a near-fine jacket unclipped with the woodcuts by James Grashaw in the original black cloth and beige boards with gold stamping on the spine. Dust jacket has some wear and slight tear on top left front and protected in mylar protector. Included are 2 note cards inside an envelope and one letter from his Connecticut farm in1973, signed and addressed by Hal Borland to his friend Ruth Tinker discussing gardening, the environment and cooking. A few excerpts: "Thanks for your thoughtful letter about the environmental problems and the stuff we eat. The farther we get from the land, the worse off we are.
