Fort Worth oilman, philanthropist and honorary Consul of Mexico, Jack Danciger, was awarded the Aztec Eagle, Mexico's highest decoration presented to foreigners, on May 1, 1945. This is the program of that event with green cloth boards, 7-1/4"W X 10-1/2"H. Bright gilt print on front board and on bottom front corner is the name, "Miss Maria Rossell" in gilt type. Inside on the first page Mr. Danciger has inscribed, "Miss Maria Rossell, with my sincerest best wishes, Jack Danciger". Ceremonial cords are attached which were probably once Mexico's red, green and white, the colors having faded somewhat.
