Age-tanning to Title Page with Author's signature to back of Title Page and dated Oct. 1949 under his picture opposite with no other marks. A few barely noticeable fold marks to wraps. New York: P. F. Collier. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1925. Hardcover. Red cloth hardbacks. Each volume contains frontice of Twain with tissue guard as well as Table of Contents. Each has gilt to upped edge with fore and bottom edges uncut. End papers as well as text have very light age-tanning. Binding is tight with blindstamping and Twain's signature in gilt to front covers. Spine has gilt with light sunning. Two corners have small bumps, two are lightly rounded but little wear. No marks. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .

This copy is a re-publication (1978) of the original University of Kansas edition by Enterprise Chronicle Co. Of Burlingame, KS. Glued binding with no wear and no marks. Gilt design to spine and cover is a bit dulled but readable. Mitchell's printed inscription to fly. FFEP is missing and there is age tanning throughout. Text block is tight but binding is fragile but holding. End papers are dark brown with breaks at both front and back gutters. Blindstamping to front cover and spine with gilt to spine faded and hard to read. One and a half inch tears at spine top and frayed half inch at bottom. Wear to edges with rounded corners. Overall age-tanning. No marks. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 627 pages .
