End papers are a Sketch Map of the Country between Stratford and Warwick in red with considerable foxing but no marks. Tissue guard to frontis is darkened with some foxing. All edges are deckled with some darkening. Binding has red lettering to front cover with gilt to spine. Paper of cover is darkened with light wear at corners. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 67 pages .

Gift inscription to FO and "Programme of an Entertainment" in blue dated May 26, 1873 pasted to front pastedown. These are a series of 107 individual sheets of paper with various poems, stories, essays and quotations of Oliver Wendell Holmes in the original box. Contains numerous black and white illustrations as well as a 12pp Descriptive Catalog. Pages are age-tanned with dampstain to title pages a several following. Light foxing to title page. Box has tears and wear around edges and upper half is loose. No top edge to box. Digital photos available. ; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 107 pages .

Boston: Houghton,mifflin and Company. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1886. New Library Edition. Hardcover. Maroon buckram hardbacks. Contains both poetry and prose of Longfellow. Bindings are all tight with very minor wear to some corners and spine edges. Gilt lettering to spines is easily read and gilt to upper edges is bright. Each volume contains bookplate to upper edge of front pastedown as well as FO name and date to FFEP but no other marks. Set weighs a little over 13 lbs.
