The covers are VERY worn and detached from the spine (but not from each other.) Contents are (I believe) complete and in good to very good condition - including the photo frontis (detached) of the 'Final Word', i-xiv, 1-416 pp. No ads or rear blank. Cover art by Gordon Grant.

This 4.5 x 7.0 inch, 646 page softcover book is the 1929, eighth printing of the revised Handbook. This copy is in fair to good condition with average handling wear showing to the stiff card-stock wrappers. The front panel is a Norman Rockwell illustration showing a Boy Scout in profile with red neckerchief and brown hat against a blue-and-black background of famous Americans. Title page has a horizontal tear, all else seems complete and VG condition.

Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.: Ezra Cook, 1884 FULL TITLE: Knight Templarism Illustrated; A Full and Complete Illustrated Ritual of the Six Degrees of the Council and Commandery, Comprising the Degrees of Royal Master, Select Master, Super Excellent Master, Knight of the Red Cross, Knight Templar and Knight of Malta. With a sketch of their origin and character. One hundred and Fifty monitorial and foot-note quotations from standard Masonic authors confirm the truthfulness of this revelation and show the character of these degrees. First edition, 1884 printing (2nd?). Bound in the original dark brown cloth bds, contents are near fine, bds are a tad loose, spine titles in gilt still nice and legible. I STRESS, this is NOT a reprint, it is the original printing from 1884. Fron the preface: "This volume is designed as a companion to "Freemasonry Illustrated," issued in July, 1879, the Third edition of which has just been issued." Very uncommon and scarce.

Vermont: Grand Lodge of Vermont, F. & A. M., 1893 Quite scarce, 265 illustrated pages with several clean blanks in the rear. AEG (all edges gilt) bound in ful supplel leather with a flap titled "Masonic Handbook" in gilt. The leather is severly chipped at the spine & flap ends. Contents are very good.

Also of the I.O.O.F home in Wisconsin and a piece on Ohio, Poetry and another story on the doings of the Rebekah's in CA. Near Fine in the original orangish pink wrappers titled and illustrated in Black, 32 pages. "To Live Peaceably, To Do Good Unto All".

Extremely scarce booklet with title story (Address delivered by the National President Elizabeth Phillips. Also Poetry and other stories on the doings of the Rebekah's in PA, MA, SD, etc.... Very Good but for an unfortunate tear to pages along the foredge for most of the pages deminishing in length front to rear. Printed in the original orangish pink wrappers titled and illustrated in Black, 32 pages. "To Live Peaceably, To Do Good Unto All".

1865 Publisher: Wrightson & Co.; Cincinnati, [1862] 1865 Very Good, dated by an owner in pencil - 1891. In the original decorated leather, with intact tab to keep it closed. Nice 'scales' decorations in gilt on 4 corners, also IOOF GUIDE on spine in gilt. The copyright states 1862, and the title page shows 1865. Blindstamper rules, sans front blank. Quita a nice looking example of civil-war era.
