This is a keyhole to the past of nearly 100 years ago. Interesting photos of all sorts of things. Unpaginated - about 36pp.. Soft cover. Good/No Jacket.

This is a book with text in English, French, Flemish (I think) and German. Most of the book is made up of black and white plates - with a few colored ones also - of interesting places in Antwerp Belgium. Very nice photography. 117pp.. 5th or later Edition. Hardcover. Spine somewhat faded. top of spine fraying. Front hinge just starting to crack. Engraved illustrations. The author walked across the U.S. beginning in N.C. and ending in California. The old west as seen through the eyes of a traveler 133 years ago. D.D.. F. Hardcover.

Overall, the book has a loose feel, althogh everything is intact: about FAIR PLUS condition This cute little travel guide to an area of northwest France was intended for the English speaking tourist. The guide part is in English, but there are also 162pp of adorable, often illustrated ads in FRENCH. 226pp total.. Soft cover. Fair/No Jacket.

Leavitt & Allen, New York This is a most peculiar book: a compilation of a VERSION of Dickens' PICTURES FROM ITALY plus 2 works translated from the French by Lady Duff Gordon - CRUSADES IN AFRICA and THE PRISONERS OF ABD-EL-KADER, or Five Months Captivity Among the Arabs. All of this is under the title "Italy and Africa. 7 3/4" X 5 3/8" in blind stamped brown cloth with gilt spine lettering. The book is moderately soiled with a little fraying at the spine ends.
