A very down-to-earth zine, entirely handwritten and hand-drawn, which consists largely of stories recounting experiences hitchhiking and freighthopping (including a glossary of relevant terms). It also contains a short piece by a (western-raised) Iraqi woman struggling with her identity when faced with an offer of friendship by an Iraqi woman from Iraq.

Internally, the book is Near Fine with deckled edge and illustrated endpapers. The colour dust jacket is by famous illustrator Paul Galdone (1907-1987). Though mostly noted for children's picture books, this early illustration (which appears to have gone unnoticed) depicts the lusty, rough-and-tumble, whisky-soaked life of northern goldminers.
