This set of 47 multilingual volumes of a religious periodical span from 1950 to 1967 and includes quite a few pieces of ephemera (flyers, cards, etc.). The main languages used are Latin and French, but there may be also English, German, and Dutch. Some volumes are sparsely illustrated in black and white. The content consists mainly of academic articles, reviews, and bibliographies, of subjects pertaining to theology and canonical law. The collection is ex-library, but with only penciled or penned numbers and the odd stamp. Retro educational booklet. 15 p.; ill. Very minor crinkles to covers, otherwise Fine. Profusely illustrated with diagrams and comic-style cartoon characters. Includes informational and educational material to make experiments with and/or build: static electricity, magnets, electromagnetism, circuits, insulators and conductors, switches, wet-cell batteries, and motors. Also lays down safety rules and contains a test "How 'electricity-smart' are you?"

Softcover magazine/journal with dust jacket, showing moderate edgewear and aging, but is internally clean and clear. The binding is cracked away from the textblock in the front, with the first page being partially unattached, but the textblock is still attached to cover at the rear, otherwise Very Good.
The artwork mentioned on the dust jacket flap is included as a separate plate in Near Fine condition, and there is also a pamphlet (NF) which apparently held a souvenir handkerchief at one point.

Mild shelfwear and some erased pencil numbers inside, but all stickers are in Fine condition. 16 stickers of sixteen different paintings by Modigliani, including Paul Guillaume, The Swedish Girl, The Little Milkmaid, Reclining Nude, and others. From inside/back: Perhaps the greatest Italian artist of the twentieth century, Amedeo Modigliani (1884-1920) created a number of memorable paintings during the last five years of his life that revealed an intriguing distortion of form and a sensitive use of color. Modigliani was an individualist whose paintings couldn't be categorized into any art movement. He was, however, influenced by Fauvism, Cubism, and African art. His artwork consists of portraits and nudes with simple forms and lines—many of them with elongated faces. To use the stickers, simple peel and apply.
