The backstrip has anciently been reinforced with black faux pebbled leather, which means that, although the hinges are cracked at both boards and the front endpaper is missing, the text-block is secure. The pages are heavily foxed with some smudging of the corners which does not affect the text. A scarce original copy of a title which would benefit from professional attention but remains a useful reference copy.
