All jackets in protective transparent removable sleeves, so very well kept, all unclipped. Pages to Free at Last somewhat toned; some faint discolouration to page edges of a few copies, traces of finger soil to lower page tips on most copies, light edgewear to some jackets, chiefly head of spine. Free of any inscriptions or marks, a very bright, sound set.

New York: Libertarian Book Club, 1960. First edition thus. Stiff Wraps. Very Good. Grey stapled wraps. pp. 29. Published to mark the 20th anniversary of Goldman's death. A sound, clean pamphlet, with slightly rusted staples the only real flaw. The essay first appeared in Madison's 'Critics and Crusaders,' pub. in 1947. Scarce in this edition.

Rebound in a later attractive dark blue library buckram, a few minor marks, blue stains to edges, gilt titles to spine, and in gilt to base of spine, 'Scottish Conservative Club', but there are no library markings whatsoever; internally fine. Reports all debates from the House of Lords, House of Commons, Lists of Divisions and Protests. Debates include the Metropolitan Police Bill, riots in Birmingham, government of lower Canada, landing slaves in Brazil, soldiers' pensions, questions on the Chartists, the opium trade, etc.

Paris: J J Pauvert; Comite D'Action, 2ème trimestre 1968. First issue. Newspaper. Very good. 31cm x 23cm. In 2 folded sheets. A satirical newspaper launched in May 1968 to comment on Les évènements, inspired by the anarchist movements of the time. With a drawing by [Georges] Wolinski (1934-2015), leading French cartoonist, and co-founder of L'Enragé. He died in the terrorist attack of January 2015 against the staff of French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo. A number of captions echo well known slogans from the time, such as "Ce journal est un pavé" and "Prenez vos désirs pour des réalités". Some minor edgewear, pages a little toned, but a very nice copy, very well kept.

Signed by Lawson to title page. One of the longest serving Chancellors of the Exchequer (1983 to 1989) of the C20th and a key player in the Thatcherite revolution. With a stamp to flyleaf, 'Supplied by the Civil Service College.' In unclipped dust wrapper. Slight waviness to pages, finger soil to lower page tips, edgewear and minor edge creases to jacket. Still a sound, firm copy, binding tight. Signed copies are uncommon.
