Description:
Philadelphia: Franklin Printing Co., 1913. Book. Very Good. Soft cover. 5" X 8" Oblong. Lightly inked number at upper-right corner of front cover. Bottom edge near the corners shows a thin trace of dampstaining. Early 1900s American manufacturing brochure for Chambers Bros. Company and their paper-folder and paper feeding machines. No date of publication, but a list of U.S. patents for the company at the front of the catalog indicates the latest patent dated 1913. A drawing of the factory, included near the front of the book, shows an automobile from that era and helps support the 1913 approximation. 56 pages with elegant technical illustrations of the company's products. They included Automatic Paper-Feeding Machines, Paper-Folding Machines, Slip-Sheet Separating Machines, and Sheet-Varnishing Machines. If the catalog letter (N) is an indicator of the latest in a number of catalogs, then this would be the company's 14th catalog issued..
