NY:: A. L. Burt,, 1916.. Hardcover. GOOD. 120 pages + ads; olive cover with red, yellow, and black illus of Goody Two-Shoes; many b&w illustrations. No date but flyleaf has name and 1906 in old script. Cover is a little worn with loss of color and just a little fraying on the extremities; front cover is a little scratched and appears to have pencilling in a couple of places that may be removable. Front interior hinge is split about one-third of the way up from the bottom; signatures are just a little loose. A few light smudges on the endpapers and rarely in the text; pencilling on one page; otherwise interior is clean. Overall, a nice, interesting older copy. 6x8.8

Gray blue cloth hardcover with a picture in black of the prince sitting on his traveling cloak in the top of a building; gilt lettering on the front cover, black lette ring on the spine. Full color frontispiece of the prince; full-page photo of Miss Mulock on page 2; a number of full-page pen and ink illustrations. The defects: cover shows slight wear; gilt letterin g is clear and bright but just slightly rubbed; exterior corners are very slightly worn and show slight color loss but are not worn through; corners at the bottom of the spine are just barely worn through; cover is just slightly soiled. NY:: Grosset and Dunlap,, 1931.. Apparent 1st printing. Hardcover. Used, good. 246 pages, red cloth cover. Is the last-listed book in the ads, which suggests a first printing. Book is worn and soiled just enough to not be considered an attractive copy. Extremities are very slightly frayed; book has been handled quite a bit and as a result is a little soiled overall; cocked slightly to the right. Binding is tight. B&w frontispiece and three full-page illustrations are all present; the three illustrations are separated from the book but are laid in and in nice condition. A couple of pages are dog-eared.
