New York: Chelsea House Publishers, 1970. Hardcover. VG-. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, red cloth boards shows spotting on the back and a large spot on the front, spine mildly faded. Edges and corners show very light bumps/wear internal binding is good and text pages are tight. This is a 1970 reprint of the famous novelty company catalogs, selling all kinds of magical stuff (that never really worked). The binding is good but the front end page has the lower corner cut out. The only evidence of handwriting found in the book is on the same page, upper corner, where you can just barely see where an old price was once penciled and then later erased. No other markings found, no bookplates, no library markings, no remainder marks.

The only minor hinge issues found is there's two spots noted, one at page 76 and the other at page 205 where there is a little bit of pulling on the spine and you can just start to see the webbing underneath. The second end page contains a bookmark of the original owner. No other markings found. No handwriting, no library markings, no remainder marks. The rear end page in pastedown is a faint reddish tint area around the illustrations of the pigs. This can be seen in the second photo. First edition thus… Read More

Pittsburgh, PA: The Leader All Sorts Co., 1892. Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, navy blue cloth boards with gilt text on front. Exterior shows scuffing on all sides along with edge and corner bumps. Interior pages are toned due to age and some soiling and fingerprints are present.
