This is NOT the Dell edition. Purple wrapper with brown figure, #6050, Hat & Pipe in Circle where Dell is inserted later. Paper is discolored from age. Bottom wrapper corner has several creases. The first chapter has a bottom corner crease beneath. Rubbed corners, chipped edges of spine, edgewear, crase along front edge of spine. This is the original 1950 first edition with the square Good News trademark on the spine. States Printed in U.S.A. Inscribed on the FFEP, "Moss Cordially Yours, A. J. Harms". The original owner and address is written opposite on the backside of the cover. There was a name in pencil that had previously been erased on the top of the FFEP. The spine is sun faded and the edges are dented. Front corners are rubbed. Gilt lettering on cover still intact. Some stains on navy hardcover boards. A.J. Harms was a radio minister out of Detroit with a broadcast "Echoes of Heaven". This book saves some of those sermons for posterity. After his this three year ministry he became the pastor of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Chicago. This is a rare signed first edition.

Tape was removed from the hardcover which significantly damaged the boards. Library markings. Very worn edges and corners. One page with a spot. Some comments in pencil intro & preface. (Last photo) Ffep removed. Book is complete. Tape at binding by The End. 1963, 5th Revised Edition, Barnes and Nobles. HC with PB isbn#.

Book in Fine Condition except it has a small dirt spot on bottom pages of book. Practically no actual wear to dust jacket. Rated VG. Top edge of dj. bends forward with a 1/4" tear. Dj. spine has a miniscule tear & top & bottom edge with a small crease at bottom. Slightly rubbed corners. Back side bottom edge dj. has a 1/2" tear. Movement marks (swirls) on back side with several scratches. Flap inside is folded over & creased.

HC no dw. Very worn around corners and edges of spine. HC is soiled and has pencil marks and scrapes or movement marks. Front end page has a couple of tears at top edge and wear along other edges. Book has some soiling, crinkling and three pages are colored on in orange crayon. Page 5/6 is missing. Back end page has two creases. Several pages have closed tears along top or bottom edge. Book is in sound condition. Delivery confirmation provided.

Book Is in French. Volume One, first catalogue in a series. Slight wear to wrapper, two page corners creased. Ships from the Chicago region.

Dated 1900. Copyright 1898 James Gorndon Bennet, 1899 Frank Musey, Robert Howard Russell, 1899 The Century Co., copyright 1901. No Dust Jacket. Not much wear to illustrated cover overall. Wear at top & bottom edges of spine, rubbed corners. Inside VG, seam badly split but intact, spine needs to be reguled. Creased corner at half title page, front end page & tissue protecting the illustration, An Invitation From Jacket Rabbit. Tissue page is also ripped along seam at bottom. Rest of inside Near Fine. Has a personal Christmas gift inscription (not from the author) dated 1911 on the half title page.

The size is 5 x 7 1/2". This book appears to have been sold to a school. It has a return date page taped to the inside cover with the first check out being March 31, 1960. There is a B C on the spine and a B over a C is written inside the cover. I searched for a book club edition and could not find one. The book is in average condition.

No dust jacket. Spine and edge of book are faded. Edges of spine are bumped, also has a little bump in the back cover by the foredge. Some little dents along edges. Name at top of illustration inside cover. Has some foxing. Back end page is bent in the center.

A thin softcover book with dust jacket for the Marshall Field's exhibition on irish patchwork quilts held in Chicago 9/1980. Book in Near Fine Condition. Tight binding, rubbed corners and edge of horizontal shaped book.

Sunfaded spine, slightly cocked, has #894. Luther College Bookplate and previous owner's name inside cover. Card catalogue number in pencil on flyleaf and copyright page and in ink or marker on the first page of Contents. Two Luther College Library Stamps. Preface to the third edition Chicago, April 15, 1912. (Copyright is 1903) See photo of inside back cover - probably to hold a library card. Corners and edges slightly worn with a dent along bottom backside edge and stain by back spine edge. Includes index and ad for other books priced 8 for $1.00 to $1.50. No dust jacket.

Writing in pencil on some of the pages - was the front desk copy. Wrapper is heavily soiled and seperating at the spine, creased corners and edgewear.

Unbound copy contains a laid in end page with family information from 1765. 214 pages with all 150 psalms plus a two sided page of register uberdie psalmen at the end which may not be complete. There is some stitching along the edge which holds the book together. This is a small 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" book. There is some writing along the edge of one page, some oil damp stains and and some creased page corners. Book will be shipped first class with delivery confirmation if ordered within the U.S.
