Washington, D. C.: Robert Armstrong. Good with no dust jacket. 1854. First Edition. Hard Cover. Cover is well worn, and soiled. Sold as-is. I have check to isure all maps, etc. are present. Chart # 1 is loose in the back. Most are worn &/or browned on the outer folds. After 150 years, there is some separation on the folds for some maps. The worst is in good to very good condition, with some in fine to very fine condition. The purchaser must supply a written statement that the book will not be cut up for the charts. Personally I consider "breakers" the scum of the earth, no offense. Some writing (pencil) on the fep. Prof. Bache's plate (compliments of) inside the front cover.; 9 1/2x12" .

Paris: Dernieres Creations Parisienne. Very Good. 1916. Softcover. In a decorated paper binding with two cloth cords. 12 one-sided colored fashion plates in the front, plus 6 pages in the rear printed both sides with b/w illustrations and a text in French and English. A scarce item. I am sure most were long since broken up for the illustrations. The red/brown covers are worn at the edges. The plates are very good to very good +, with the expected evidence of handling (light soil at the edges, etc) , but no major flaws. This volume may have had more illustrations at one time, but we can be happy to find what is still present. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 24 pages .

Says she was a "cousin by marriage" to President Wilson, & that she was living on 9 cents a day. Unfortunately, the clipping has burnt the facing page where the signature is located. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 287 pages; Signed by Author .

Title page has been laid onto new paper, and the hinges have been reinforced with tape. Each map is a two-page spread, giving excellent details of all the streets. Bound in front is a large folded map, mounted on linen. No date, but 1886 is written at the bottom of the title page, and another page indicates the data if from 1881. ; Ex-Library; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 73+ pages .
