No. 5 in the Ure Smith Miniature Series, a compact volume of 72 pages. It includes suggestions for a range of menus to fit occasions such as A Dinner Party to Impress, Men's Dinner, Invitatons on Impulse and Some Picnic Meals. Printed on heavy paper with colour illustrations. It is in good used condition overall, with all pages intact. Binding is cracked at three quarters of the way through, pages 48-49 ( see photo). Cover has scuffing and wear at corners and the spine is loosened at the top edge, with tears to paper covers where they meet the spine. Ink stain on front cover (approximately 2 cm by 1 cm). White mark to back cover where surface has been worn away. Previous price marked in black ink on front flyleaf but no other notations or inscriptions. The pages are yellowed with scuffing along side edges, and there is a 3.5 cm tear at page 30. Text is clear.
