Little wear. This large, thin book almost lays flat, with just a slight upwards bend opposite the spine, when laying face up. No wear to the cover, pages are all clean and tight. Full of pictures, many in color. All about pizza in New Haven. Not being from that part of the country, I'd never think of New Haven as a pizza hotbed, but as a kid, we did always go to Pizza Haven. No idea if there's a connection. My searches show very few of this book on the market, asking very high prices. I have undercut them all.

If it wasn't for one unfortunate occurrence, I'd be telling you how nice this book is. A few chips at the bottom edges, a tiny piece missing from the bottom corner of the front cover, and no spine creases. However, at some point, something heavy (or somethings heavy) was placed on top of this book, resulting in some indentations on the back cover, extending to the pages underneath, fading away about 80 pages in from the back. These indentations can be seen in photo #2. These indentations don't really impact the reading of the book, they just don't look right. If you can get over that, then you can have yourself a Hugo, Nebula and Locus award winning book for a low price. This is also the sequel to the award winning Ender's Game.

Pages fairly tight and tanned. A hinge split is beginning in the front endpaper, and has happened at a few other places, but not so anything is coming loose. This book has been turned into ebooks and reprinted as replicas. What I have been unable to find is any copies on the market of the early versions as is this one. Wee Wifie was first published in 1869, and then revised later by the author prior to reprinting. This is a revised version, published by a company which only existed between 1896 and 1898. There is no date within the book, but I can safely say it was published in 1897, give or take a year. Obviously, this is a very rare book.
