Rare and signed edition of ""Forty Years."", which is the premier account of Indian wildlife from the British era. Binding completely intact, contents unmarked and very little if any yellowing. There is some wear on the board edges, including the corners, but this is a very robust copy. Over 100 illustrations and photographs, and over 20 maps, the book focus on tiger stalking as well as many other animals such as panther and bear. There is also early recognition of the issue of wildlife preservation.
