Rear board has a dent near the bottom right cloth is tearing at spine edges. Internal binding is good at boards, there is some pulling in areas which exposes the binder string. First title page ornately decorated in color with tissue guard still present on the frontispiece. This page lists the title as "The history of Marie Antoinette of France" and the second title page simply listed as History of Maria Antoinette. Pages are toned due to age and foxing and spotting is present throughout. There is some staining though this is mainly limited to the end pages.
