The book is also a documentation of the Hollywood star system in the early years of the stuidos and how they marketed their stars. Illustrated with many examples of her wonderful photographs including her extensive work with Garbo. Also some color. Fine.

Lacking the dustjacket. Very minute touch of soiling to the purple cloth, and a touch of light foxing to the front and back endsheets and top edge. Vg+. Laid in is a very nice original portrait of Dandridge from the 1959 film "Tamango" & a small arcade portrait of her early in her career.
