Cincinnati: C Cropper 7 Son, 1848 Bound in quarter leather over marbelled cloth, 183 pp. This a rare book with Worldcat locating 10 copies in institutions worldwide. A well used but complete copy in original period binding. Spine is chipped and rubbed, tips rounded. Foxed throughout with the first few leaves being the heaviest. All four engravings present. Pencil scribbles on rear end papers and one engraving. Again, a rare item.

London: T. Fisher Unwin, 1891 This copy bound in a brown mustard colored cloth with bevelled boards, gilt titles.Errata slip before the Table of Contents present. Front board with mild bumping, college book plate, accession numbers on verso of title page. This copy form a Catholic college that sold the contents of its rare book room.

London: , 1702 Printed for Jonathon Robinson at the Golden Lion in St. Paul's Churchyard...1702. I Two Parts. contemporary leather with front board detached, faint dampstain first and last few pages, minor foxing. A t the bottom of title page, in pencil, someone figured this book was 190 years old in 1892. Good clean copy.

Philadelphia: Thomas Desilver, 1828 Translated with notes by William Coulson. An attractive copy bound in mottled calf with gold spine bands and red leather label. The front endpapers have a corner crease and one is missing a corne chip. There is a scuff that damages the middle of the spine label, and small scuff marks on back cover. Gilt spine bands are quite bright. An attractive copy with the damage to the spine label as the only visual detriment. Minimal foxing internally, 382 pages. Leather has been treated with Fredelka formula preservative.

New Haven, CT.: S Converse, 1822 "Missionary to the Indians on the borders of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania: chiefly taken from his diary, now for the first time incorporated with the rest of his diary...507 pp. Edited by Edward's grandson, Sereno Edwards Dwight. Nice copy bound in mottled calf with red morocco spine label and spine compartments with gilt borders. This copy with chips at extremities and edge wear, two adjacent leaves with a corner crease, otherwise a very good copy.

Harper & Brothers, 1891 Bound in pumpkin brown cloth with gilt, red and green decorations, 325 pp. This copy with a wonderful calligraphic Christmas, 1891 inscription on the front endpaper and two small newspaper clippings on her death on the second endpaper. There is a one leaf [two page book ad laid in [no evidence of it ever being bound in. An attractive copy with the tips lightly rubbed and a slight bump at the tail of the spine. A nice copy with additions that add to this copy.

London: Alfred Miller, 1831 With eight original designs by Robert Cruikshank, engraved by M. U. Sears. This 22 page booklet with sharp eye appeal. Cover is starting to split at fold, crease to the cover-barely shows on front but apparent on verso where there is also a college label [this was purchased from an Indiana College that recently sold off all their rare book section].

Orange Judd, 1871 Bound in brown cloth with gilt quite legible on spine."was out" on line 3 page 7, plates not paginated. Bottom corners are somewhat rounded and there are minor chips to spine extremities. Book slightly cocked. Internally very good. Orange Judd [1871]

J. B. Ford, 1874 Attractive copy bound in green cloth with black and gilt decorations, "illustrated" not on title page. Book has shelf wear and lightly bumped corners, quite bright and clean.

New York: J. B. Ford, 1874 Bound in decorative rust colored cloth. Slightly cocked, wear at spine extremities, soiling and old children's stamps on endpapers only. all lettering and decoratins quite bright.

New York: Self published, 1891 Bound in navy blue cloth with gilt decorations on front cover, 120 pp. Full title Twenty-five Years Brewing with an Illustrated History of American Beer. There are numerous illustrations and also tables recording beer consumption in various nations. This copy with loss of gloss to the back cover, edge wear to the tops of boards, but elsewise a very good copy.

Munich & Liepzig: Gale Research Company, 1981 Clean, bright, tight copy free of marks, names, etc. Bound in brown cloth with yellow and red titles.

Salem: Cushing & Appleton, 1809 Bound in full period calf, 511 pp plus errata and contents very good or better. Leather is still handsome though spine label is missing and front board detached and with wear to the fore edge, rear board cracked at joint. Also first front end paper is detached. Text is largely unread with the rear end papers lightly foxed. But for the detached front board and endpaper and weak rear hinge this is an exceptional copy and could be relatively easily restored.

Hastings House, 1969 Nice reprint of the 1850 original. Interesting experiences of numerous women during this period of history. Book ix ex-lib but is sharp and clean, handles like it was read once or twice.

Houghton Mifflin, 1924 Book with fading to the spine and inscription on front endpaper, else very good.

Fold outs of the ditching machine and Hussey reaping machine present, as are all pages. Binding has edgewear and most of backstrip missing, pages have some foxing.
