Very good with small Ex Libris and Foyles stickers to front paste-down and previous owner name and date to front endpaper. First issue with 'Ihad' on p. 7. The original and unclipped dust jacket has some toning to spine panel with several nicks to edges and lower panel hinge. A very good copy overall.

The present copy bears and inscription from Miss Margaret Babington: 'With much gratitude from the friends of Canterbury Cathedral & their steward & treasurer, M. A. Babington'. Original printed wrappers. Small chip to spine foot; small tears to head and foot of spine hinge of front cover; a little sunning to edges of wrappers; discreet gift inscription on verso of front endpaper, otherwise a very good copy.
