There are a few water spots throughout the book. The cover is printed in green ink with a little bit off one of the flowers at the bottom of the cover.On the cover it says, " Condensed for Use In Schools with Introductory and Explanatory Notes." The original copyright date is 1895. 1902 is on the title page. The story takes place in New York during the time of the Revolutionary War. It is a beautiful vintage book.
