London : His Majesty's Stationary Office, 1919 Complete run of three issues, 1918 and 1919 bound in blue wraps. Issues contain articles and poetry of many of the leading authors and poets along with military leaders. Authors include Rudyard Kipling, J M Barrie, Thomas Hardy, John Masefield, Edith Wharton and others, with illustrations by Max Beerbohm, William Nicholson, etc. Also, first publication by C. S. Lewis under the pseudonym Clive Hamilton, a poem entitled "Death in Battle". Volumes 2 and 3 retain the publishers listing of the contributors tipped onto the front covers, making these issues quite rare. Issues are well preserved in a chemise slipcase. Case is unevenly sun faded. Periodicals are very good or better.

Macmillan, 1974 Jacket with a nick and small wrinkle on back, small crease front flap. Nice book on the development of aircraft with 17 color plates.

Salem: State of Oregon, 1906 Edgewear with the book the slightest bit cocked, bright very good copy.

Grosset & Dunlap, 1928 Scarce Garis title, this with soiled covers and foredge of textblock [does not appear when pages are opened]. Front and rear endpapers are color illustrations, internal ones black and white.

Platt and Munk, 1945 Exceptional coy of this Uncle Wiggily title with the book in fine unread condition and jacket with two nicks and two small closed tears.

MacMillan, 1928 Beautiful copy bound in decorative black cloth . There is a nick on the top back board and a scuff mark on front, else fine.

Avon, 1998 Advance reading copy of the first novel written by Justin Scott under the Paul Garrison pen name. This copy with a $1.50 price marked on front cover, else very good.

Martha's Glen Publishing, 1977 This a book by an acknowledged expert in his field, published in 1977. Copyright page states first edition, but number line disagrees. Early 1977 printing. Nice copy with the only noticeable flaws are the previous owner's inscription and a tribute from Carmichael to Garrison pasted on the front endpaper

Alliance, Ohio: self published, 1919 Bound in navy blue ribbed cloth with gilt decorations, 186 pp plus a final pafe drawing of a hog and captioned "Base of Supplies'.This taken written from the diary and memory of a man who served with the 104th Ohio Volunteer Infantry [OVI] and illustrated with the author's drawings..Errata slip pasted inside front cover, front endpaper missing a decent sized corner chip, text overall fine. Light bumps to the corners and bottom of front board.

London: John Best, 1661 Bound in period tree calf with raised bands, red leather and gilt spine label. Top corner of last page missing [margin only], several pencil marks in margins. Book nice and tight and clean.

Rsndom House, 1958 Stated first edition in first edition, first state jacket. A good solid copy with inscription stating this was a birthday gift in February, 1959. Spine ends of book are bumped with related bumps, small closed tears to the jacket. Jacket also with some chipping on the top rear and minor wrinkles. A good, solid, copy that still presents itself well.

Random House, 1947 This is a complete copy of the first edition, first state, with olive green covers and dark green titles, seven line copyright notice, open mouth fish on cover. It is a well used copy with spine perished and held together with tape. Pages are loose and have finger soil. A well loved but complete story.

Paris: Librairie De Firmin Didot Freres, 1846 Complete in original wraps bound in with new endpapers. Leather spine with five raised bands, gilt titles. Original covers with a little edgewear, pages quite white with occasional foxing. tres bon

New York: Mcloughin Bros. Bound in red beveled boards with black decorations and gilt wolf and title on the front cover. Literally translated from the Greek with one hundred fourteen illustrations. This copy respined and with title page detached. Contents with occasional finger soil else very good.

Edinburgh: A Miller, London, A Kincaid and J Bell Edinburgh, 1764 Bound in full calf with red spine label and gilt titles, 6 raised bands, 298 pp. stated second edition. This a remarkably preserved book in exceptional condition, largely unread Flaws are minor: modestly bumped corners, a trace of cracking at the gutters, offsetting from the covers to the following [front endpapers to preceding rear endpapers. Also a 1" scuff to the lower back cover and an owner, Henderson signed his name a few times in preliminaries up to and including the title page with dates 1760 [not a typo] and 1769. Without a doubt as nice a copy as you may find.

Philadelphia: Key & Biddle, 1836 Bound in full calf with black morocco spine label and gilt bands, 183 pp., 2 plates, 1 pp. explanation of the plates, 2 pp ads. Leather with edge wear especially to the fore edge, scuff marks, some rubbing to the spine with titles still quite legible. Book would grade very good but for insect activity to the upper margin of 12 leaves in the middle of the text.

Genealogical Publishing Company, 1982 Bound in red cloth with gilt titles in cream colored jacket, 178 pp.

Arthur H Clark, 1935 bound in burgandy cloth with gilt titles, teg, 371 pp. This copy mildly ex-lib with evidence of book pocket removal at the rear endpapers.This is Volume 3 of the Southwest Historical series. Spine gilt is darkened, some wear at the spine extremities. Slightly uneven fading to the front cover.

Bradbury, Agnew & Co. Boundin half blue leather over blue cloth, with bright very good condition contents, 308 pp. There are ten hand colored steel engravings plus numerous other engravings. Contents are sharp but both boards are detached and the spine is chipped. A nice candidate for rebinding.

Paris: Abel Goubad, 1898 Bound in pale blue pebbled cloth, 710 pp. This is the deuxieme or second edition published in December 1898 [preface]. Pages are age toned and covers unevenly browned. A good copy of a French cook book.
