Portrait frontispiece tissue guarded and twenty illustrations throughout the text. Humorous chapters on aspects of what was then the second city of the British Empire. Some of these ‘light yet informative sketches’ cover pretty much the same today as they did then, the weather being one, also history, architecture etc. Generally clean, slight rubbing to the corners.

Many of these features still exist and you can walk in his footsteps should you wish to.
