Colour and black & white photographs; black & white illustrations by Danny McBride. David writes on the flap "This book is my opportunity to print something from my heart, to tell the truth about what happened to me on the long and winding road from Baltimore to Baywatch to Broadway - and beyond. I love people and the emotional rollercoaster that goes with human relationships. I love all the bewildering, crazy, and wonderful things that life has to offer. This book is about my successes and my failures. And, above all, it is about the hope contained in the Knight Rider slogan: "One man can make a difference"." London, United Kingdom: Heinemann, 1986 [First published 1986]. This edition is now out of print. 218pp. Slight age and shelf wear. Original dustjacket not price clipped - jacket has slight browning around top edge. Jacket design: Claudia Zeff; illustration by Michael Munday. The top edge has some brown spotting. Clean text pages no internal markings. In this novel the sense of alienation and uncertainty which lies beneath and beyond politics and the struggle for power is compellingly evoked. By exploring the themes of love, loyalty and betrayal, and of tradition versus modernity, Christopher Hope creates a world where illusion and game-playing are not merely a refuge, but the means for self-preservation.

Prepublication first edition. [Probable publication date: 18 September 1989.] 55pp. Green soft cover. Clean text pages. The Library Journal considered reading Wolfwatching was "like visiting a zoo envisioned by Hieronymus Bosch: we're caught between fright and fascination". He was married to the American poet Sylvia Plath until her death in 1963. Ted Hughes is considered one of England's finest modern poets - winning the Whitbread Book of the Year in two…
