Contemporary half calf over marbled boards, spine with gilt-lettered label (heavy chipping toward spine ends and extremities, corners scuffed, boards rubbed, joints split but holding firm). Text little browned only, occasional minor spotting. Provenance: Rothamsted, Lawes Agricultural Trust collection.
