Wrappers (that is, paper covers) plus pp. 24 (218 x 142 mm). ‘The purpose of this book is to show that the blossoming of a distinctive Australian culture depends on certain conditions, and to indicate broadly what those conditions are’ i.e. the Jindyworobak manifesto. Inscribed ‘To Ken (i.e. Rev. Ken Cheel, from whose library the book came) from Ian (i.e. Tilbrook) and dated 1938. Loosely included is a manuscript religious poem unattributed but presumably by Tilbrook. Staples a little rusted; otherwise near fine.
