Subercaseaux Errazuriz. Text is in both English and French. Book is protected in mylar. Some binding wear along edges, but solid, no cracked hinges. Interior of book is clean, no former owner's names or marks. Half title page has very light brown area where a newspaper clipping may have been in the past. Reading the book and studying the illustrations does make one think of Pope Francis. An attractive, large folio copy of a scarce book.

Binding is worn, unevenly faded, small chips and tears on the spine, minor re-glue, but solid. The book is missing the front free end papers, the title page is glued to the inside front cover. Other then that the interior of the book is mostly clean and intact with no marks or previous owner's names. Thomas Johnson writes of "twenty-eight years a slave in Virginia, afterwards, at forty years of age, a student in Spurgeon's College, Missionary in Africa, Evangelist in England.
