New York: Walker and Co, 1963. First U.S. edition. Hardcover. Hardcover. First U.S. edition. This is Le Carre's second novel and the second to feature his recurring character and master spy, George Smiley. Dust jacket is unclipped with price of $3.50 present on front flap. Slight sunning to the spine, modest edge wear and a few small tears at the crown. Some dampstaining to the spine and some scattered foxing along rear flap edges. A signed bookplate by John Le Carre' is laid into the book. Signed by the author.
