Some light soiling to the covers; there is a small, dark stain at the left edge of the back cover. Tight binding with no loose pages; both covers are firmly attached. Occasional light smudges to the pages (though a bit heavier on the contents page and page 1). "Bundles for Britain, Inc." is stamped in ink at the bottom of the front cover. Overall the book is in Very Good- condition.

Description:
This is a scarce, original issue of the "American Sunday Monthly Magazine" from December 6, 1914. This issue contains Chapter X and most of Chapter XI of the story "The Star Rover" by JACK LONDON. Prior to being published in book form, "The Star Rover" first appeared within this magazine in serialized installments. The story contains an illustration between pages 10 and 11. Also included in this issue are a few other literary works (please see the photos for the complete list), and numerous illustrated advertisements. There are 18 numbered pages, not including the covers. The magazine measures 14" tall x 10 3/4" wide. The "American Sunday Monthly Magazine" was a Sunday newspaper supplement of the Los Angeles Examiner.Condition:Light soiling to the covers. There are occasional small tears along the perimeter of the pages. Both covers and all pages are firmly attached to the staples. Nice interior - the pages are clean with no notable issues found. Overall the issue is in Very Good- condition.

Nice condition vintage copy of "The Call of the Wild" by JACK LONDON. 1982; The Franklin Library; Pennsylvania. This edition features numerous black & white illustrations by William Harmuth. Nicely bound in faux leather with gilt page edges on all sides of the text block, four raised bands on the spine, and decorative end papers.Condition:There is a thin, very light 1" scuff near the bottom edge of the front cover. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are clean and appear unread with only some very light foxing to the first couple and last couple pages. Overall the book is in Very Good+ condition.
