Interior missing first blank, old cello tape at front hinge which has yellow and split. The book features dolls and toys at play with rhyming captions, pictures are illustrated on one side with uncoloured mirror image so the child can copy the colouring. About one-third of the blank images have been coloured in (quite well, we might say! ) , while a few have partial colouring, and some are still blank. A 12mo bound in what looks to be 19th century ribbed brown cloth, quite plain and neat, bit faded at spine and edges. Interior has brown marbled end papers. Some foxing throughout, bit of damp (? ) staining at the top corner of the first 50 pages or so, some pages very closely trimmed, occasionally affecting text. ESTC N51744.
