As in most copies, the large family portrait is lacking; all the other prints, facsimiles, etc are present.. This collection of family letters, journals, contemporary criticism, etc. was assembled with connecting text by Danish diplomat Georg Nikolaus von Nissen, the second husband of Mozart's widow, Constanze. She edited it for publication after Nissen's death. It remains one of the most important collections of primary source material on the composer.
