Description:
Boston: Little, Brown, 1972. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Here is a rare, likely one-of-a-kind copy of "Johnny, We Hardly Knew Ye" signed by President Kennedy's brother Ted Kennedy, along with the book's authors (we have never seen a copy of this book signed by Ted Kennedy). Fifth printing in very good condition with rubbing to title on spine and evidence of label removal on flyleaf, otherwise clean throughout. Slight cocking to spine. The dust jacket is very good plus (price clipped) with light edgewear and a bit of foxing to the reverse. INSCRIBED BY TED KENNEDY on the blank page opposite the title page. In addition, inscribed by co-author Dave Powers on the half-title page, and the owner of the book has affixed a signed card by co-author Kenneth O'Donnell to the front pastedown along with the envelope in which it was received. A truly unique item featuring a rare Kennedy family connection.
