NY: Totem Press, 1959. Soft cover. Very Good. Description:
NY: Masjid Al-Farah, 1985. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Very Good. NY: Masjid Al-Farah, 1985. 8vo. Saddle-stapled in pictorial wraps. 70pp. Very good or better, with irregular toning to wraps. Translated by Muhtar Holland. A selection of colorful short stories and parables drawn from three of the principal works by Turkish Muslim spiritual leader Muzaffer Ozak (1916-1985), here credited under the honorific title Shaikh Muzaffer Efendi. Translator Muhtar Holland (1935-2010) was an American-born, Oxford-educated translator noted for his extensive renderings of works from the Islamic canon. Though at least one volume of his translations of Ozak's work preceded this publication, we suspect that many of these selections may be appearing here for the first time. Moreover, an interesting imprint, having been published by a New York City mosque. Scarce, and unrecorded in OCLC.
