Eric Andersen's "Decision-Set" consists of nine sheets of transparent paper printed in black text (English language), along with a title page instructing readers to combine the sheets until reaching "any relevant statement" on a chosen topic. A UFO-themed work of religious philosophy bound in the manner of a hymnal, in which the narrator channels messages from a cosmic entity referred to variously as the "Disincarnate Intelligence," the "Invisible Teacher," etc. Author William Dudley Pelley (1890-1965) was a screenwriter, occultist, Nazi-sympathizer, and fascist political agitator who spent eight years in prison on sedition charges before being paroled in 1950, the year this book was first published.

Petrys memoir explores the life and legacy of her mother, the writer Ann Petry. Best known for her 1946 novel The Street--the first book by a black woman to sell more than one million copies--Petry was notoriously guarded about her private life. Not only did she tailor her own life story by "omitting information, changing details, embellishing the stories she heard as a child," but she also destroyed many of her notebooks and personal documents in later life. In At Home Inside, Elisabeth Petry mines her mothers remaining journals to paint an intimate biographical portrait of one of the most poorly understood figures in American letters.
