The card measures 10" by 4.5" approximately and feature a photograph of the author. Fine condition. This item will ship by letter rate and the default shipping charge will be adjusted down at the time of order-processing to reflect the actual cost of postage which is likely to be only 1 or 2 pounds sterling.

Orion, 2003. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. First Printing. Collects the three Inspector Rebus novels Let it Bleed, Black and Blue, and The Hanging Garden in one volume. A Near Fine copy - pushing to both ends of the backstrip. The binding is firm and tight but the text-block has toned with age. The dustjacket is not clipped. Minor creasing along top edge and at the rear panel is a small area marked with may be glue residue from a removed label. Presents well, however, and loosely inserted into the book is a publicity card which has been signed by the author.

No Binding. Fine. A plain white card bearing the author's hand-written signature and Knots and Crosses doodle. Measures approx 6" x 4", Fine condition, can be trimmed down for mounting in a book, e.g. Pencil notes to verso. Provenance: Obtained in person by the previous owner at a book-signing event at Waterstones, Piccadilly on 10.04.2001. From the collection of the indefatigable autograph hunter, Clive Bullimore.

Signed at the title page with a rather poor excuse for a doodle (if we're honest) by Ian Rankin. The book was signed for us in person at a Waterstones signing event in Reading. Some minor shelf-wear to the glossy wrappers and some marking to the edges of the block but a VG copy indeed, nonetheless.

Finland: Warner Bros, 1958. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. A really lovely Finnish A2 one-sheet, cinema poster for the 1959 movie, MARJORIE MORNINGSTAR starring Gene Kelly & Natalie Wood. The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in 1959 with no subsequent theatrical screenings. This poster is not a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related The "small" standard vintage Finnish film poster is the most common and collected version and approximates in size to the German or Hungarian A2. Sizes do vary slightly depending on the studio or printers involved and the era. Stylistically, vintage Finnish movie posters rarely reproduce the same art-work from the original studios' publicity material. Older films were usually re-named in Finnish (and Swedish below) but nearly always referenced the original title of the movie somewhere in the presentation. The film was first screened in Finland in 1963 without any further release . This poster is not a re-issue or a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related This particular poster measures 23.5" x 15.5" It is in good to VG condition with pinholes to corners. Some liquid staining to top right, mostly noticeable from the verso. A few scrapes here and there on the surface and minor edge rubs. Excellent graphics though no artist signature

Finland: United Artists, 1952. 1st Edition 1st Printing. No Binding. Near Fine. Cinema-used Finnish film poster for the western movie NEW MEXICO starring Lew Ayres, Marilyn Maxwell and Andy Devine. The film was first screened in Finnish cinemas in 1952 with no subsequent theatrical runs. This particular poster is a standard size 60cm x 40cm approx. Appears as though a tack was used to fix the poster and then it was just pulled through at dismounting so there is a small enclosed tear at the top in the titles (at the "O" in Hutton). No other pinholes. Fold to centre, minor creasing to corners, no edge-wear to speak of, else Near Fine. Artist-signed in the plate.

Presented in a gold-coloured slipcase which is also in excellent clean condition with minor bumping to fore-edge corners. A lovely book.
