The book is a collection of light verses with 350 comic illustrations by Gilbert.Condition:Light staining to the covers; chipping along the top edge of the spine; the upper-outer corner of the back cover is worn. Bright gilt top page edges. Ex-library copy with an ID code written at the bottom of the spine, a card sleeve affixed to the rear end paper, and a library label affixed to the front pastedown. Condition:
The book is in Near Fine condition and appears unread. The only condition issue is that there is some scuffing to the gilt at the top edge of the text block (see photo), and trace foxing to the half title and the opposing blank end paper.
