Description:
New York: Avon, 1973. First edition. First edition. 284, [4] pp. Bound in illustrated wraps, red edges. Near Fine, uncreased spine, light shelf wear. A paperback original that went through a single printing. One of the high spots of political cynicism in the Watergate era was this long out-of-print memoir by former Los Angeles Police Department informant Louis Tackwood. He outlined a career of infiltrating and setting up the Black Panthers and other leftists as a professional agent provocateur, contradicting the rosier and more simplistic narratives of most other contemporary radical authors. His allegations have mostly gone unrefuted but have almost entirely been consigned to the roomy confines of America's great Memory Hole.

A self-published treatise on the beguiling and still-controversial phenomenon of synthaesthesia, which is when a perceived sensation typically associated with one pathway such as taste, color, sound is experienced in another, i.e. "hearing colors." The author was "Bill" Griffith P. Taylor, famous for officially inventing the earliest known industrial robot in 1937, a crane-like machine called The Robot Gargantua.
