Octavo (9 x 4 inches) paper promotional brochure folded three times to form four panels printed on both sides, illustrated with black and white halftone photos, inside is a map of the route and descriptive text of the sights, and a photo of the bus circa 1920s. Original, good condition, minor chipping; one old small tape repair, corners bent (one reinforced) not affecting the contents.

New Edition. 519 pages, the frontis is an original tipped-in photographic portrait of the author, illustrated title page with views of Chateau Margaux and Chateau Lafitte, 15 unnumbered lithographic plates of wineries, and scenes associated with wine production, 4 maps, a facsimile foldout of a signed wine contract, plus 7 pages of the publisher's advertisement for another title by the same author.

Original green cloth decorated binding with title framed by a surround of grape vines on the upper cover; title and author in gilt on spine. Very good condition (mild shelf wear to upper and lower spine, not affecting contents; previous owner's neat old inked inscription on front fly leaf).
