Description:
This
1st edition hardback book presents many of the fundamentals of the true Christian Faith. The Foreword explains the nature of this exceptionally well-preserved volume; "…this symposium is not intended to supersede any of the standard works on dogmatic or systematic theology nor to act as a substitute for the more technical treatise needed by the theological student. Its object is rather to provide a simple restatement of Bible truths in language which can be understood by the ordinary reader…."

Description:
With our world in great tumult, the Book of Revelation comes alive for all who read and study. Morris is easy-to-read.This 263-page commentary is in the Tyndale New Testament Commentary Series written by a renowned biblical scholar. Here is a thorough review found online: 'Revelation is probably one of the most feared books in the New Testament, and in the whole Bible. Its imagery is strange and often cryptic, and some don't quite know what to make of it--it seems easier to ignore it. But it's also a book that is full of stunning visions and memorable poetry. And Leon Morris opens the book up for the reader in a way that makes it approachable and understandable…. It's meant to be readable for layman as well as student and pastor. Morris is a recognized exegete on the Johanine literature, and brings learning to bear on this interesting book. He takes a … faithful approach to the book that seeks to discern its meaning and intent, both in its original setting and for readers today. And I think he… Read More

Description:
Have questions about the Bible? This easy-to-read 132-page paperback will answer most of your questions and hand skeptics a fatal blow! Goodreads notes that in this small paperback volume, Dr. Leach answers these pertinent questions: Is the Bible really true? Where did the Bible come from? Has our Bible suffered change through the years? When were the books of the New Testament collected? Did Christ use our Old Testament? Dr. Leach first discusses the New Testament, then the Old, and finally traces the history of our English Bible. Dr. R.A. Torrey concludes with ten reasons given to prove that the Bible is the Word of God. Dr. R. A. Torrey observes; "I was brought up to believe that the Bible was the Word of God. In early life I accepted it as such upon the authority of my parents, and never gave the question any serious thought. But later in life my faith in the Bible was utterly shattered through the influence of the writings of a very celebrated, scholarly and brilliant sceptic. I found myself face… Read More
