Contains many politically incorrect images, stories, such as Golliwogs, a poem entitled "Seven Little Sambos". Full colour frontis. Coverboards have wear, mainly around edges, and are slightly bowed. Some light staining on rear board. Pages are yellowed and a few have some small tears/chips. A couple of illustrations have been neatly coloured in. An interesting feature of this copy of the book is that a previous owner has pasted three small silk flags on the rear pastedown endpaper. The flags are the British Empire Trinity House Masters Flag, British Empire State of Perlis State Flag, and British Empire White Ensign with the header "Kensitas Cigarettes".
