Green cloth with gilt lettering. Previous owner address label on front pastedown. Jacket has very light wear at the spine ends and corners and a few tiny edge tears. Protected now in a new archival Mylar cover. Released on the 25th anniversary of the end of World War II, this is a story of the Polish Underground resistance to the German invasion during World War II. It is based on the personal story of a participant related to the author. Fictitious names have been used. The author has inscribed this copy to a previous owner of the book and dated it December 23, 1971. A note to another reader is laid in from the previous owner in the inscription..
