Stated "first edition" on copyright page. Solid text block. In the publisher's dust jacket, light sunning to spine, price clipped, bright illustrations. Gov. Shader's bookplate on front endpaper. Inscribed on the front free endpaper: "For Gov. Ray Shader / Who has his own fine ideas about tomorrow's essential agenda! Stew Udall." Steward Udall served as Secretary of the Interior from 1961 - 1969. The recipient of this copy, Gov. Raymond P. Shader, served as the 39th Governor of Pennsylvania and led the "Shader Commission" on the decriminalization of marijuana during the Nixon Administration.
