Stained with bumped corners and spine peeling to top 3 in. of front joint. At several points in the book one finds exposed gutters, but stitching is intact and binding quite robust still. Binder's ticket ("Bound by Galwey & Co., Eustace St. Dublin) to front pastedown. Opens with Index to the publication (includes all issues 6 January 1894 through 29 December 1894), followed by Index to the Diurnal. Rare in original format. "The Irish Unionist Alliance formerly the Irish Loyal and Patriotic Union, launched Notes from Ireland in 1886, undoubtedly as a direct response to the outcome of the 1886 election, and in advance of the launch of the Plan of Campaign in October 1886. Ten Individual original pages of an early 18th century printing of an Antiphonarium which became the standard version for Catholic families in Germany (accompanied by a photo-copy of the cover page of the original complete volume with handwritten note about original owner). These pages appear to be from a copy owned or used by Josephus Annegarm who was a professor of church history, theologian and popular writer. His UNIVERSAL HISTORY (in 8 volumes - 1827) was written primarily for Catholic youth and became a standard work for Catholic families in Germany.
