Full leather boards of this massive book are rubbed at the corners with slight rubbing elsewhere on the front, spine with five raised bands and other decoration has some rubbing and scuffs, wear is moderate. All three paper edges are gilt, interior is in fine condition. This 10.5x13x3" book contains steel engravings and essays on the major New England manufacturers of the nineteenth century. It's an extraordinary piece of historical research, not available online. There will be an extra charge for overseas shipping on some sites.

Printed on Croxley hand-made paper, bound in yellow vellum. The boards are browned around the edges and on the spine, the vellum doesn't lay flat, interior is browned near and on the edges.

Deutschen Reichs, 1894. Hardcover. Good. Here is a collection of German telegraphs, all tanned, loose items with rough edges. There are 22 from 1919 and 72 from 1894. The 1919 telegrams are loose in the book, the 1894 telegrams are bound into the book. The red cloth boards are worn and read in German "fur erinnerung unfere hochzeit 3 juli 1894" which translates to "To Commemorate Our Wedding July 3, 1894." I don't understand why a wedding album would have telegrams bound in, a mystery.

Leslie & Co, 1879. Hardcover. Good. Hardcover bound edition of "The Lady's Bazar" Volume I for January-April 1879. Published by Leslie & Co, this "woman's magazine combines black and white illustrations of women's fashions and other topics with fiction, music, recipes, poetry. There is one tinted illustration in each month's edition, this has some tan coloring. The leather and cloth boards are worn, tearing at the spine, spine is dried-out and very worn, text still readable. Front board is partially detached, hinge opening, small bookstore sticker inside front cover, some very light foxing.

Leather and marbled paper boards are badly worn, the front board is only half attached and the rear board is not attached, the spine is missing the top and bottom 2". Bookplate of prominent lawyer and politician John B. Stanchfield on inside cover. Punch was a British humor magazine that created the first cartoons.

Inside covers have pen name and small sticker, front endpapers have pencil name and stamp, title page has two pen names and stamp, one sermon has a pen name

The Westinghouse Air Brake Company, 1906. Hardcover. Good. Record of 1906 convention of auto mechanics in Atlantic City is bound in green suede with gold decoration. There is color change and wear on the edges of the cover, right edge has 4.5" water stain, doesn't go into the book. Clean interior, silk endpapers, mostly portraits of the mechanics, some pictures of machinery.

La Compagnie des Libraries Associes, 1752. Leather. Acceptable. Folio-sized, 10x16, leather bound book, is quite worn with rounded corners and pieces of leather missing, spine with six raised bands is chipped, decoration still nice. The first 84 pages of the book have been removed, only fragments remain at the spine. The upper right corner has been chewed on, see image for details. Volume Seven only, which includes T-Z and the whole Latin to French dictionary. This would make a great shelf book or a Latin reference book, but as a collectible it's an "as is" item.
